Smell the Roses

Smell the Roses

Similar to the other Rose ring it is also made of two water castings soldered together. Instead of a stone set into the centre this one has a silver ball. The round band is almost 4.5 mm wide and has a soft brushed texture. It is a size 8.

This is a heavy ring with the brushed ring shank starting at 13.3mm narrowing to 10.3mm. It is a single water cast piece with a silver ball soldered to the centre. This is a size 8

Oyster with a pearl

Oyster with a pearl

This is my favourite of the water cast rings. A pearl emerging from it's shell. The pearl is a soft subtle pink and it just reminds me of peaceful quiet times. It is set on a wider shank that has been softly textured and shaped into a soft square. It is a size 7.

Nest Ring

Nest Ring

When I saw this piece of water cast silver I immediately thought of a little nest. I used some of the small round silver balls that occasionally came out of a pour. It sits low on the finger which makes it a favourite with those not going for strictly large stand out bling! The round band is made using 2.6mm wide 1/2 round silver. It is a size 8 1/4.

My name is Flower

This ring is made with a wider band (8mm) and one of the "bubbles" from a pour. It is the first water cast ring that I set a stone in and I liked the effect...just a little added bling. It's a tube setting with a 4mm peridot. The shank is shaped into a modified soft square which is a little wider at the top. It is a size 71/2.

A rose with champagne tastes

A rose with champagne tastes

Set onto a patterned ring shank, two pieces of the water castings are soldered together to form what I think looks like a rose. I set a champagne coloured 3mm cubic zirconia in the centre using a tube setting. This one didn't stay around long...one visit from my daughter and it was on it's way. I have to admit it did look nice on her hand. It is a size 8.
