Actually I'm referring to the store, Feast in the Village, nestled in the Edgemont Village shopping area in North Vancouver.
3183 Edgemont Boulevard
North Vancouver, BC
778-340-2223
They don't have a website yet although one is in the process of being built.
Their tagline is Functional Art, Fine Art & Artisan Foods and it certainly is all that and more. The store is cozy with every possible bit of space taken up with all sorts of treasures. Kelsey the store manager knows the name of every artisan represented and something about their work. That's impressive especially if you see the number of artisans represented. She has now added my jewellery to that delightful space.
I took what I thought would be a selection of jewellery pieces for her to choose from. I was pleasantly surprised, okay ecstatic, when she asked if she could take it all. I was kind of sad to say good-bye to the pieces that have surrounded my work area forever but she did promise they would go to good homes.
If you live in Greater Vancouver and you find yourself on the North Shore you will not be sorry if you make Feast a stop on your list and look at all the treasures that local artisans have contributed. A great place to shop for Christmas.
P.S. There is a wonderful bookstore right next door that you should check out as well.
OK, this is too funny. Kelsey is my oldest friend! We've been buddies since we were 5! Feast is literally a 2 minute walk from my parents - im always gazing in the window! I will definatly check out your pieces!
